The ten commandments existed before God wrote them for Moses

Genesis 26:5

Amazing! God’s laws/commandments existed even before they were finger-written and handed down to Moses. Those holy, perfect, eternal and unchanging laws of His kingdom 🙌🏾🙏🏾😇

One has to wonder why God subsequently saw it fit to write them down, on tablets of stone. It’s probably because the Israelites had forgotten them after living with heathen people (the Egyptians) for some 400 years. The grandeur with which the commandments were even handed down to Moses…it’s certainly unimaginable! Read Exodus 19.
