Should you just pray and count the stars while waiting for God’s move?

The more I understood Prov 16:3 & 9 and lined it up with other verses in scripture, the more confident I got in Christ. Simply said, we are responsible for making a plan for our lives and God will direct our steps in how we achieve it, as long as our plan is in accordance with His will.

His ways are not our ways and we often give up before receiving the promise due to our impatience. But if we are genuinely studying, meditating and confessing His word (Josh 1:8; Ps 1:1-3), committing those plans to Him in prayer and doing our best to bring it to pass (and not thinking because weโ€™ve prayed we can go sit on our hands and count the stars ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ™„), we fulfil faith and show it in our diligent works! In the works, we may not feel or know it but God is guiding us and bringing us to our desire – but only in accordance with His will! ๐Ÿ’ก

God is able to do more than we ask, think or imagine, which is why trusting Him even when the dream tarries is always worth it. ๐Ÿ˜Œ He wants us to step up boldly to Him in faith as nothing is impossible for Him to do. When we come at him timid, we do both ourselves and the world a disservice. But that faith will be tested to reveal whatโ€™s truly in our heart! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Heโ€™s often wanting to bring those who trust in Him closer to Him through their trials. So it may feel like a trial while weโ€™re waiting, but the process will reveal the true nature of our heart and the genuineness of our faith (James 1:2-8).ย

If we pass the test, God will show up for us, often in a big way, when and (sometimes) how weโ€™re not expecting! God tested the Israelites for 40yrs in the desert. In Deut 8:2-10, He says it was to: test and humble them, and to reveal what was really in their hearts. But through it all, they never lacked food and neither did their sandals go weary! #AbleGod ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜‡
