The ‘man of God’ caused me to sin

Wow! What could happen when we know God’s express instructions yet disobey them because of what another supposed man of God said? This is quite a story because the man of God who got deceived by the old prophet, had clear instructions from God but this other old prophet lied that he too was instructed by God and thus led the former to break God’s express instruction to him and suffer such a useless fate. 😢💔

Satan’s old trick – counterfeiting worship of God

Counterfeit worship of God among God’s people is an old trick of the devil still in play today. He wants to make us think we’re truly worshiping God but actually aren’t. Satan’s ways in trying to attain his ultimate goal of securing worship away from Christ, just as was Jeroboam’s intention for example, are very vivid all through the Bible. Also look at the height of Satan's temptation of Jesus - it centered around worship. ☠️

Be careful who you share your God-given vision with

1 Samuel 17:28-29 The scripture reading refers to when David went to the battlefield to meet his brothers when Goliath was attacking the men of Israel and speaking pompous words.
